Key West Real Estate Crisis: Pain in Paradise

Much has been written locally about the high cost of living in Key West - the migration of people out of the Keys ( and Key West most specifically ) and the general state of the future of Key West as a vibrant and diverse locale that will and can support people of different demographics and socioeconomic backgrounds and ambitions.  

Key West is a special place because of it's rich and diverse populace - not because of it's *RICH* residents.  Colorful characters dot every street and landscape throughout town.  When those folks can no longer call Key West home - well - no offense to the doctor and developer crowd, but ….There goes the neighborhood…:-)
